Throw in a wet, old towel. Cook it for an hour or so. If it's doesn't come off on the towel, it's either baked on or won't come off on your clothes.

Get some oxyclean, mix with water, use a sponge. Clean the dryer. Make sure to rinse with clear cold water. I would then test it on some towels. Wash and put towels in the dryer.
If no red comes off, you're good.
Last resort, comet. Following the same steps.

TRY MIXING SOME POWDERED LAUNDRY DETERGENT WITH WATER AND MAKE A PASTE AND APPLY TO DRYER THEN TAKE A WET SPONGE OR CLOTH AND WIPE PASTE OFF ,THEN PUT A COUPLE OF TOWELS IN YOUR DRYER AND RUN ABOUT 20 MINUTES OR SO ON MEDIUM SETTING. THE TOWELS HELP DRY THE INSIDE OF YOUR DRYER.
