The United States is spreading its resources too thin in the name of pointless wars. We need to start focusing more on the problems in the United States, such as the healthcare system, and unemployment rate. The U.S. should intervene in some world problems, such as the genocide in Darfur, but it is these causes it chooses to ignore.

it all depends , if another country was posing a threat to my people then yes i would take some sort of action , would i declare a full blown out war ? probably not but i am not in the position to do so or know all the intelligence facts about the people there . Also the usa is a monster country that has a implied responsiblility to help others . let me ask you something. if you had classified information that prooved there would be other terror attacks would you tell the public to put them in a country wide panic or would you go to war and not tell them . My point being we cannot judge the president due to us not having all the facts that are kept confidential

I would help my own country first, then try to save the world ... that is why the US is in such a mess, because their respective Presidents think they are the leader of the world, not just of their own country.

If we should one day be fortunate enough to have a mullti-tasking president, I think both can be done. We can do more for our own country, and we can also be sensible, intelligent contributors to a better world as well. Tasking at one doesn't necessarily exclude being able to make a positive contribution to the other, at least in my humble opinion.

i would try to help our counrty becuz it will be impossible for only one nation to try to get world peace now i know about the UN but half of the peolpe in the world HATE us and i would try to fix that then i would try to help the world out
