Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest
X-Men 3: The Last Stand

If you haven't seen either then get to a cinema asap

I'm probably alone in this, but I liked King Kong and War of the Worlds. In both cases I thought the films were better than the originals.

But on a more profound level, I liked Good Night and Good Luck, and Syriana, because they were excellent political films.

Also I really liked The Lake House (Keanu gets better looking with age) and Stick It (really funny and very accurate)
