If the divorce is uncontested, and there are no children involved, a filing fee is all that is necessary. Serving papers by Sheriff costs money that you will pay also...that is about it. Check with your court house. But, if kids are involved, ain't gonna happen.

not sure about nc... most places have whats called a poor mans divorce... runs about 100.00 but since you have the form, it may cost less. call the court house.. you will have to pay a filing fee
