2. 2 times 17
3. 3 times 2exponent4
4. 7 times 8= 7 times 2exponent3
Can't get the right font to show exponents and times right.
Just start dividing by prime numbers that go into evenly until you get a prime for an answer. The count up the numbers that went into the number you started with and write with exponents.

100 divided by 5=20
20 divided by 5=4
4 divided by 2=2
2 is prime.

you have 2 fives an 2 twos

2exponent2 times 5exponent2 is the answer

It doesn't matter which prime you start dividing by. Just keep going until you get to prime time!

normal is from smallest to largest

example 18=2^1 *3^2

2*9=18
