I am currently pregnant with my second baby. I am 9 weeks(not 4 weeks). I wanted to know at what week can you find out the babys' sex? With my first I did not find out until the birth. I also was wondering is it safe to have sex during pregnancy? Up to what week or month. What positions are easier while you are pregnant? Thank You!!

The male genitalia is not totally formed until the 18th week, so they like to wait until between 19 and 20 weeks to find out the sex. If they do it before that, it's possible that it will be wrong.
As far as sex during pregnancy, as long as your doctor hasn't said not to, it's fine until you go into labor. There is no need to stop having sex unless you are told to. Some doctors will say to either stop or use a condom after your seventh month because prostoglandins in semen can bring on labor, but unless you have had a problem with preterm labor, this shouldn't be an issue.
As far as positions, anything that is comfortable for you is fine. It's best to stay away from positions that put pressure on your belly. You just have to try different things as you grow until you find one that works for you.
For me, sex was awsome during pregnancy. All the extra blood flow down there made it more enjoyable then it ever has been. Some women don't enjoy it as much. You just have to go by what your body is telling you.

gender CAN be told at 16 weeks HOWEVER most doctors will not do a ultersound till 18 20 weeks. AT 18 to 20 weeks is the best time to get a ultersound to see all the babys organs and to get good measurments also the gender is a lot easier to see at 18 to then then it is at 16 weeks. As for sex during pregnancy if this s your 2ed you should already know it's fine up till labor starts as long as the pregnancy is normal and the doctors has not told you not to. With a 2ed you should already know the best positions early in pregnancy any will do later doggy, side laying, or the women on top puts less presure on your growing belly.

Yo find the sex out around the 16 week, yes it is safe for sex your Dr will tell you if it is not and I got it on all the way up to 1 day beofre I went into labor. The beest way for us was on the side or from the back, but you are still early so you can flip anyway you like it for now enjoy it while you can because once I got past 7-8 month my boyfriend use to call me Fat Rat because I really did look like a fat rat. Good luck with yor new addition and for me the second one was the worst the first one came out nice and easy the second baby gave me hell not trying to scare you just a little FYI

most ob/gyns will do the ultrasound to learn the baby's sex between 17 and 22 weeks.
it IS safe to have sex during your pregnancy, all the way up until your water breaks. there are unusual circumstances in which you should avoid sex, but your doctor will tell you if you're in that group. otherwise, have as much sex as you can -- you'll miss it once the baby is born!
most positions work great until about 5-6 months. if deep penetration hurts you, you can control that better by being on top. once your belly gets really big, you'll want to be on top most of the time!

You can find out the sex of your baby at 20 weeks, and sex is perfectly safe up until birth as long as you dont do any crazy positions that can hurt yourself .

Here is a link down below for some "fun" gender prediction charts...some of them work and some dont....My last one said I was having a girl...well it was a boy....but like I said they were fun....I believe you can find out at 4-5 months of pregnacy with an ultra sound...And it is okay to have sex..We did until I was 8 months pregnant. Its just whats comfortable for you. Good Luck

i was like 5 or 6 months when i find out the sex of the baby and yes sex is ok

they usually can tell the sex of the baby at about 20 weeks...
as long as there aren't any complications with the pregnancy then you can have sex up until labor... whatever position is most comfortable for you.. but usually from the back laying on your side..... Congratulations!!!

the doctor will probably schedule a sonogram appointment when are between 16-21 weeks.
Yes it is safe to have sex in any positon you want right up until your water breaks just as long as you are comfortable.
