I don't think it's that they're unattractive. I just think that they are more interested in their personalities and the difference they are making in the world than they are in investing time in thier personal appearances. They seem to have taken things to the extreme, where what you look like doesn't matter at all because they don't think it SHOULD matter.

Unbelievable!

Just because a woman believes in sticking up for herself and refuses to put up with sexist BS in the workplace and elsewhere she's labelled a "feminazi" and undesireable?!?! That's because most of you are incapable of understanding the social gray areas and institutionalized sexism that most reasonably intelligent women confront -- still -- each day. It is the height of ignorance, in the true sense of the word, for you to reduce feminism to something as superficial as bitterness over a (subjective) lack of physical attractiveness. Shows just how clueless you are. Unfortunately, it's people ('couldn't believe a woman actually answered the same way as most of the men) like you who are responsible for the perpetuation of such a damaging and misguided stereotype. You SO don't get it.

I've been interested and involved in women's issues since I was a teenager. Men have never found me unattractive. Quite the contrary. I only know about a hundred other bright, beautiful, heterosexual feminists who could say the same thing.

You're a bunch of pathetic losers.

Why most of the male politicians in power look unattractive?
The answer to your question, is that being attractive according to the usual occidental parameters takes lots of time unless you are younger than 21 years-considering both sex-

Then, why to waist time in being seductive if their goal is to achieve equal opportunities for women?
A model has to be attractive to work.
Somebody busy with human rights needs other values upon beauty. If natural, then is there. If needs hours of make up and fitness, unnecessary.

Because one of the main reasons the feminist movement was started was to give the unattractive women access to power.

They hate men because they can't get any because they're ugly and therefore become feminist activists.

Because your making a blanketed genrealization where the word "most" is used to suggest an exgeratted amount of women, all of whom you are judging in appearance
to your specific biases.

in other words.........they are not, your just judging wanting others to validate your......sexism.

because they think that the pressure to put forth time & effort to be attractive is a form of gender discrimination against females and go way out of their way to resist it

They hate pretty girls because they are jealous and it just naturally develops into feminism. Oh yea, and they don't shave.

I know hundreds who would make you drool and you couldn't score with a single one of them.

But, then, that's the point, isn't it?
