was just wondering the same thing so checked it out - yahoo answers says they're to help "allow everyone recognize how active and helpful you've been"...so they're actually quite useless it turns out

what is the purpose of accumulating money and saving in banks when we know that one or other day we have to die and leave everything behind? Everything is just for mental satisfaction. Does money help to get mental peace and true love for you?
