Don't you think homosexuals wonder the same thing about straight people? I don't think it's fair they're not allowed to be bonded in Holy Matrimony. Marriage is just a piece of paper anyway, and the govt. makes more $$$ when people divorce, so it'd be more in their pocket if they legalized it. I love everyone and it's not my place to judge anyone..."Love Thy Neighbor As Thyself" We all have choices to make in life, and whomever you choose to have sexual relations with is up to you. Color, gender, and nationality doesn't matter in the least bit. (It shouldn't)

I am against gay/lesbian marriages, for several reasons:

As a Christian, I believe homosexuality is wrong, and any sexual relationship outside of heterosexual monogamous marriage is wrong.

Children deserve a mother and a father.

Activist judges do not have the authority to redefine marriage, as they did in Massachusetts. I think the country could stomach it a lot better if legislatures just changed the laws, but of course since most americans oppose it that won't happen in the near future, so people's only recourse is to convince liberal judges that it is a "civil rights" issue.

I have some problems with the term "marriage" from the religious perspective. But there is research to suggest that homosexuality might have a genetic/biological basis. If that is true than any of us could have been born that way and be suffering the persecution that they face.

I've known gay/lesbian couples who have been devoted to each other for years. It seems cruel and pointless to not allow them basic civil rights like the opportunity to inherit property from one another etc.

you are the way a non secular individual might desire to be, open for every person to be happy. I see no issue in any respect with it, the only reason it extremely is no longer criminal is with the help of the fact in lots of places the majority are non secular and that they'll continually vote against any rights for gay human beings. i think of the persons in potential might desire to stop arguing against same intercourse marriage, in the event that they don't seem to be overjoyed with it they do no longer might desire to become in contact, as a voter why does it extremely is counted in case you do no longer believe it, you're actually not the single getting married. those human beings might desire to do what is going to benefit the rustic and economic gadget and peoples existence's often, allowing same intercourse marriage advantages the economic gadget and persons often, and it won't impression the persons against same intercourse marriage, it won't impression them in any way. look at all the states and international places which have legalized it, those international places have had no unwanted outcomes from legalizing same intercourse marriage; it made human beings happy and delivered funds to agencies. To fool homophobic human beings; Who the hell cares no be counted if it extremely is considered a sin, no longer all persons are non secular or have confidence in a god, we prefer to stay existence the way we would like, no longer the way a mythological e book says.

Two guys raising kids. That's a joke. Men can't even clean up after themselves. No problem of course with lesbians raising kids. They would keep the house clean I'm sure.

i totally support gay marriage. this nation is based upon freedom. rights etc. this nation is not based up chrisitan beliefs. its not a christian nation. the government seems to have that outlook and so do the ppl but they need to realize that our nation isnt based on one religion. rights arent based around religion.

I don't think gays should marry lesbians, because they really have nothing in common.

In an age where STD is a problem, it is good to promote fidelity among partners. It is just good public health policy.
