ok forgot to give u my opinion hehe:
1) is not geometry in plane but geometry in space;
2) a line can be seen in space as the intersection of 2 planes;
3) general equation of a plane is ax+by+cz+d=0;
4) the given equation in the question is obviously the equation of a plane;
5) it can easily be seen that z=0;
6) z=0 then this is the equation of the xOy plane;
7) the answer can not be found among a,b,c,d,e;
8) pls explain your answers don't randomize just to ask the question;

ok. This question is closed now. I don't care for future answers. I must thank to Tom. I did not consider the fact that the coeficient of z can be 0. I was just thinking of z beeing zero :) (he'll get the best answer if it matters...to him...)

c.
the equation is that of a line... but..
because z can be any value...
then it represents an infinite number of lines.. thus it is a plane parallel to the z-axis
