i know that when i read them, i feel wicked ugly looking at all the skinny stars, all the gorgeous models, their humongous houses, their luxurious clothes and jewelry. does anyone else feel ugly and put down while reading beauty magazines?

listen, when has one of their relationships been a success. Even Halle Berry's husband cheated on her. Brad and Jen. Victoria and David. The list is endless. Money and houses are not true happiness. These celebs are some of the most insecure people on the planet. Magazines are magic and could make the elephant man look like a hunk, no offense to him. But seriously do not let that make believe world interfere with your reality, imagine the amount of work that goes into making them look like that. They cant even go to the store in jog pants or they are splashed across the Mag's. Give me my plain old life any day

it's normal to feel that way..who wouldn't!?..they re all perfect in there..perfect weight perfect height perfect smile(teeth)..perfect ten..no cellulite.
but hey NONE OF IT IS REAL!..it s all been corrected.Nowdays when i look at those magazines i look with fascination..what an accomplishment the world has made!with tehnology!..and..when i look closer i actually like my face better than those typical "beauty"girls!..
and i ve come to realize all that while i m still young!..very young.
dont waste your life..live it

no, u need more self confidence. i recommend that u read seventeen magazine, because they often use a fat model, so u can feel better about urself. they said they wanna "represent all body shapes and sizes"

not necessarily ugly, but definitely inadequate - i mean by the way they show you all these ways to improve yourself (looks-wise), because apparently, according to them, everything that you have naturally is wrong! As for the huge houses etc, that just makes me wish...
