neither, after years of watching my parents fight, when I was 15 in the middle of their fight I started crying and yelling, "I have had enough of this, watching you two fight year after year and it's got to stop, what is wrong with you two!?
I guess they never realized how much it hurt to watch and they actually never did it again...well a few small arguments but not the screaming, violence and physical abuse.
I don't know if anything like this could work for you, good luck!

sometimes because parents have such a lot of stress they forget about their children- the best thing to do is to speak to them both one day even if it means screaming it out- let them know you love them both and you are not taking any sides and that they should take a moment to see what this is doing to you. If you are over 18 its time you get an apartment or somewhere else to stay where you can think things through. moms and dads can affect your future and the way you look at relationships. good luck :)

your parents fights are none of your business why do people think that because there parents get into it they have to decide which one is the better you are not in their relationship you are the child your parents had a relationship b4 you came they fought b4 you came they did not need you to pick a side then they don't need you now you love your parents as they love you and realize what goes on between the two of them is their business you are not in their unit when they got married your name did not go on the license stay in you role as the child even if you here them fighting find something else to do ! You don't need to choose a side and you shouldn't be expected to. Easier said than done, I know, especially if they are behaving very immaturely and trying to make you choose. If that's the case the best way to handle it is to stay as calm as possible, tell them that you're not going to be part of it, and try to ignore them until they calm down.

you don't need to take sides. You love both of them and you shouldn't be put in the middle at all. I know its hard to do but try to let them deal with there own issues and keep you out of it. Good Luck and Hang In There.

No side. It is between them and has nothing to do with you. Leave them alone and let them find a solution to their problems. Tell the both you love them.

Don't take sides at all. The disagreement is between them.
