No- for those who got offended, I specifically omitted Athletic because I know that is what everyone prefers, and very few of us are. Athletic
is ideal in my opinion, but the percentage of those who are is small compared to the other body types I listed. No insults are meant here please !!

When I met my wife, she weighed in around 110 pounds. Three kids and ten yrs. latter.... well she has been thru all of the figures that you have listed.... After our second kid, she was up around 180 pounds... she couldn't loose it..... She would cry and cry and cry... She would say that she was so fat and ugly.... To be completely honest.... I still thought she was sexy and beautiful...
(of course she wouldn't listen to me!)

She is now 34 y/o and about 120/125.. (smoke'n hot) She seems to be ok with her looks.... She has never had any reason (in my eyes) to get down on herself about weight or looks.... You girls really beat yourselves up over this stuff!

She is my girl to the end.... She could be 250 pounds and I would love her just the same!

I read all the answers which were interesting but what I'm thinking is "curvy" really doesn't belong in this mix. Almost any body weight can be curvy which has to do with proportion, for instance my best friend is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 180 lbs, so by most peoples standards she would be considered "fat", however, she is very well proportioned, a 10 inch difference in bust, waist and hips, therefore she is curvy. I weigh 137 lbs and am 5 feet 7 inches tall with the same proportions and am Curvy but I was also curvy when I weighed twenty lbs less( when I was 18!) Also " a few extra lbs" is deceiving. It depends on where they are and how they are distributed in terms of what is "attractive". I personally have been up and down the roller coaster weight scale many a time and have gone through the anguish of feeling "fat". Right now I am relatively average and I strive to stay this way more for the health benefits than to please other people.I truly believe that woman can be attractive at any weight, if they feel good about themselves and confidant and happy, those things come through and become part of the whole picture of what makes a woman attractive in my opinion.

Slender; not really- but it could work it the other ingredients jell.

Curvy; sounds too sexy- but in the right places with the right attitude- better than slender, for sure.

About Average; Sounds very basic and simple- might be too risky to dive in immediately, but whats average to some is exceptional to others.

Pounds; Again, in the right places with many other qualities, is great.

Atletic; Not my speed. There is nothing wrong with it. I just can't see why anyone would see that as the best.

I can find any, all and most to be attractive- Like everyone, we have preconcieved qualities that remind us of someone or something. On elittle grin or smirk or smile can make the least attractive the most attractive. But in the end what matters the most is not the outside of the package. Reminds me of a quote, to close... I love you because of how I feel when I am with you.

So you're saying that athletic women are ugly.

Additional:

Athletic is not a body type, it's a matter of fitness. A woman who is 4 foot nothing and 80 pounds and built like a pipe-cleaner but runs marathons is great. A woman who is 5' 10" and 160 pounds and built like a truck but plays hockey is great. I don't care what they do or how they're built as long as they do _something_ and are healthy.

I'd rather see a woman in a fleece sweatshirt, jogging tights and sneakers than a tight dress and high heels. Which one is more likely to be up for anything? Which one is also more likely to give better conversations?

But then again, that's just me.

Slender about a size 0-3, Curvy size 5-11, a few extra pounds 12 etc...... As for which is sexier or "better," it depends on the woman, my first wife carried 145 pounds size 12 very nice, my second wife was a size 1-5 depending on the time of the month. My current friend is about 165 and curvy. like that too. I doubt there is one "best" size or descriptive adjective that will satisfy all men or women.

Slender =skinny (possibly too much so)
Curvy = definite top and bottom to figure
Average = just as it sounds average=normal
A few extra pounds = anything from a few to a lot overweight

I'm going to have to go with Curvy here. Slender is nice, but if she's Curvy and maybe a little overweight, she can always go to the gym. Not to sound overly superficial or anything, but you did ask. Speaking of which, why do you ask?

My husband likes the Marilyn Monroe figure, though it's long been considered outdated. I prefer to be a bit more fit, but curvy. We're in our early 40's though, so perspectives change. My ideal as a teenager and young adult was rail-thin. Boy, was I hungry !!!!!

Slender is a tad skinny, aint it?

About average? Aint that another way, more polite, of saying plain jane?

Few extra pounds, don't you really mean a lot of tonnage?

So, I'd go with the only one left now, curvy.

All of the above. Frankly the personality has a lot more to do with it for me. Honest, independant, good sense of humor not afraid to make the first move.
