i think its not a facade..everyone has done bad things..the true "do-gooders" like to leave that behind them and start a new life and leave that in the past...a true "repentance" from an action is a change of mind and heart, however, we realize that the dues must be paid for whatever the action was and the world will always judge you for that action even if you are a true "do gooder"...even more so...if ur going to take on the responsibility to be a do-gooder you had better make sure your heart is true to it or you will be exposed...the world will find any faults you may have....even so, the world will always judge you for your past and only fellow do-gooders will understand you. Ive done some things in my past that i am truley ashamed of but that is my buisness and i leave it in the past.
