Oh absolutely. I believe it happens to everyone. Our passions, compulsions, and emotions seriously hamper our freedom all the damn time.

My emotions get in the way quite often. Rejection sucks in any form at any age. You just have to take a break, have a good cry, then pick yourself up and get on with it. Sappy romance movies are sure to start the waterworks with me. Expectations of others... tough one. Some days you just have to come right out and say what you want/need from others and it works both ways. I'm usually pretty in tune with what people around me need or want, but there are times when I'm way off. *L* Communication is key, always, but especially with those of us who tend to wear our emotions on our sleeves for the whole world to see.

Of course they do and they always should. That is what makes this world so wonderfully interesting because people exhibit the entire range of emotions from Love to anger to hate to greed sometime or the other during the course of a day. Without emotions and the exhibition of them - this world would be a place inhabited with zombies and love of course would have been a trained excercise wtihout emotion - Do you think you would like to live in a world like that.
The rest of the things will be told in little or compound answers and each answer will be governed by the emotion manifesting in the answerer when he or she answers this question.
So live on - and change from moment to moment and that is what will make you facinating ...

Emotions are a part of life. However all emotions and their physical manifestation may harm a person's life. So you have to be careful and patient in following the dictates of emotions.

of course! what human doesn't have feelings? its what you allow those feelings to make you do. the best advice i've ever learned was to never react to a situation when you're emotional. allow the emotion to run its course, then you can think more clearly.

rejection...depends on the source of the rejection. stings more if its from family or close friends. otherwise you don't have to like me and what i do, and i don't have to like you or what you do.

romance movies...dont' like 'em.

expectations of others....people will let you down everytime if you put all of your faith into what yo believe they should be doing. however, i expect certain people ( self included, family and my closest friends) to fill what i beleive are their obligations to me and vice-versa.

They used to until I realized I couldn't take things personal. If you let your emotions control you, you lose your cool and make rash decisions. Roll with the punches and dont take anything personal. Its the only way to survive in this society that is selfish and fairly clueless about what is important.

Emotions don't get in the way of our daily life. They *are* our daily life.

Yes it does, but I would just keep it.
It is best to forgive and forget.
Just remember the happy things in life.
If U encounter anything that is unpleasant from work or people, u can curse @#$%^%$$ in your heart and forget it!
This will make U feel better!
