not all african nations are very small, many european countries are small in size and field good sides, look at switzerland in the world cup, africa just doesnt have the skilled players to comepte at the world stage

the size of the country has no affect on how good their football team is....portugal is a rather small country and they got pretty far during this world cup.
it may have to do with the fact that african countries may not have funds to support players and clubs so they may not get the experience needed that wealthier countries are able to provide.

what do you mean? Cameroun will maybe be the first African country to win the WC and Jeffwhatever wht do you mean if Africa actually had good players? what about Roger Mila? he was really good. Samuel Eto'o is also relly good. When we played against Germany last WC they cheated like crazy or we would've won that game. so i have noooo idea what your talking about.

having a big country, doesnt necessarily mean that also thers a great football team. look at China, theres no country bigger with more population. being successful in a field like soccer or stuff, needs national interests and historical abilities.

i don't think winning a worldcup depend on a country size, some african countries are biger than european country that have won a worldcup final. it just about the players, not the country size.
