I see that there are lots of American tourists trapped in Lebanon.

Hey, don't knock it til you've tried it... Beirut is an awesome place, great people, cracking beaches and amazing mountains. I've been there and I'd definitely go back....well, not quite yet!

Lebanon is really pretty and very historic. I mean, it's one of the nicest Middle Eastern Countries. (The others are Syria, Turkey, and Jordan) So, unless you know what you are talking about that I suggest you don't penalize the people in Beirut right now.
