My best friend wears her clothes really tight. She doesn't think it looks bad but to be honest it does. She is not a fat girl. She has thick thighs and her jeans are really tight making them look bigger. I try and hint it to her without hurting her feelings but she never catches on or thinks that anything is too small. How can I tell her without hurting her feelings?

I will be very honest and tell her straight in her face. But in case you fear hurting her, maybe you can go out shopping with her one day. Get her to try on something (not tight) which you feel is right for her. Once she tried it, give her comments like 'hey, it look really nice on you'. Women just loves compliments, don't we? If she replies to you 'really', grab that chance and tell her nicely, 'yes, you really look so much better compare to the tighter ones you wore yesterday', something like that. I used that on my friends and it does work without hurting them. Right now they do look better in dressing and feels it themselves too, they even ask me for opinions now whenever they buy new clothes.

Go shopping with her and make a big deal out of clothes that look nice on her...There's really not much you can do, because if she's feeling confident and happy with what's on then good for her. Making a big deal out of it could hurt her feelings or make her mad at you....Now if she ASKS what you think or something like that, then she's given you permission to tell her your opinion. But remember, this is YOUR opinion, and maybe your other friends think the same way, but if SHE is ok with what she wears, let it go. Girls have enough self-esteem issues as it is.

Just by a pair that you think she would like in her size and tell her to try them on.( Remember that she might wear tight jeans to attrack a guy) Ask her does these feel better on her. Remember she may want to wear something tight to attrack a guy, but not to loose.

Offer to go out shopping with her, and pick out some clothes for her to try on, the more loose fitting ones. Besides, it's summer, you should be wearing skirts and shorts. So you should go out shopping. That's my advice. She might like the new look and swap it for her old. ;-) Good luck!
