Yes.

I saw the first British one, and what the American BB is like, is completely different. It's all about the houseguests, they do the voting. Okay, so last year we got to choose a houseguest to have a walk on part in a soap opera, another to have a day out of the house, and a third to have a phone call from a loved on, and this year we voted in 6 previous houseguests from the previous series... but on the whole, what we think doesn't matter.

Saying that though, I've been watching since season 4, and here I am watching season 7 which is considered "All stars" because all the contestants are previous contestants, which we, the audience, voted 8 of to go in before the series started.

yeah! We've had 6 seasons of it and we're currently doing a Big Brother All Stars with people from all other seasons. I love the show and I've heard a lot about the British version.

Yes, we have a Big Brother show. It's stupid. Seriously. Who wants to watch a bunch people argue and gossip about each other? I'd rather be entertained with an intelligent movie like The Da Vinci Code than something stupid like Big Brother.

Yes, we do - six seasons down and some of us are quite addicted. On this forum, I wish everyone would put down which BB they are asking questions about (e.g. UK or US) right in the question, so I don't click on the UK ones. Thanx.

Yes, we are on Season 7 and it's an allstar one. The public voted as to who would go back in from other seasons

In America "Big Brother" is the Government.........but since you like it we're probably talking about two very different things....it's a TV show or something...right?

If it's the one where they put a bunch of whining, back stabbers in a house for x weeks, make them do challenges, and vote people off...yes...it's here.

I don't know if that's another one we ripped off from your TV, or if you may have ripped this one off from us, for a change.

Can't say I like it..however, I don't like reality television. My theory being, I get paid to watch people act like twits Monday-Friday at the office...I need a break from it when I get home.

:-)

I'm afraid we do. I was happy to see "The Office" jump the pond but big brother sucks as much here and it did there.

Yeah their government, try not paying taxes there.
There are also plenty of Brits who regard the programme as voyeuristic tosh, for the record.
