This does not mean that certain causes do not seriously affect the rich - and that they are not seriously concerned with the people, animals or whatever they give money to.

I don't think so. When some people donate to charities they can have tax rebates for their contributions to charity. From here, we can see that the main purpose is to have tax rebate. The reabte also depends on the amount that have been donated to the charity

generosity means thinking about other people and forfeiting one's own sakes. so they are not selfish to themselves. by contrast, they feel happy, sure!
