Castration is not going to give desired results. The child molestors should be punished according to law while the rapist should be lashed 100 times to teach him a lesson.

It's amazing how stupid most people are (except for one other answer). There are many ways in which sex offenders can assault others and a penis is not the only way. Most of you have very narrow minded answers. What about other forms of treatment where the research is much clearer -- that is, that its more effective that physical or chemical castration!!!!

Yes, they should. Child molesters can sure be scary and dangerous even when they are out of prison. Of course many people once in jail one time they decide to turn their lifes around for good. Unfortunately that's not everyone's case.

I think they should be locked up for life. Child molesters and rapists have a rediculously high reoffend rate. Casteration would not be neccessary if we just locked them up forever. Our children and women would be alot safer.
