The 2006-07 NBA season is the 61st season of the National Basketball Association. It will begin on October 31, 2006 and will run through April 18, 2007. The league will field 30 teams, separated by two conferences and six divisions. The NBA Playoffs will follow the regular season, beginning on April 21, 2007, and continue through the NBA Finals in June. The schedule will be announced in the summer of 2006.
