definitely! i used to love the song of babyface's " reason for breathing" but same thing happened, me and my bf broke up. when i hear that, i feel drowning in the melody, makes me feel like i can't breathe. and for sure, i dont like what i feel.

I used to love, "When a Man Loves a Woman" by Percy Sledge. What happened was.....Michael Bolton later covered the same song with his screeching style. Now, I don't want to listen to either version.

I heard a story about a guy who loved Michael Jackson. One day he was driving his car, listening to the album, when he lost control of the car and crashed off the side of a hill. He was trapped, and the stereo kept playing over and over and over. When help arrived the first thing he asked was for them to stop the music.

i used to like a lot of really good songs, but then they became singles and got overplayed, and now i hate them.....like stuff by green day, fall out boy (that question applys to the band pretty much), foo fighters, weezer, franz ferdinand, hawthorne heights, rise against, hot hot heat, panic! at the disco, etc.... i love the others songs by these bands....but once mtv and top 40 stations get ahold of a single...theres no turning back.....and the song gets ruined for me

i listen to music that nobody else knows about
i ahte when bands get famous and all over MTV, cuz then they get played out and everyone knows about them
some perfect examples are Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, Motion City Soundtrack, Thrice, Avenged Sevenfold, The Academys Is..., and there's still plenty more that have been ruined thanks to MTV.

I used to love fall out boy. Then, one day I was in the middle school picking up my little sister. I began to notice all of these idiotic girls in shirts that said "Fall Out Boy" and "Loose Lips Sink Ships". And another time, my sis dragged me into her favorite store Claire's. They had Fall Out Boy socks and pencils and diaries and lip gloss and jewelry! I don't listen to Fall Out Boy anymore.

I used to like all of Too Short's songs until I realized that he might be a misogynist.
