because some things really matter in the overall scope of your existence here on Earth, and some things just don't. Ten years from now its not going to matter one little bit that you snagged your sweater on a fence, so why make a big deal about it now? concentrate on the things that make a difference. don't sweat the small stuff.

Life is full of the "small stuff" and occasionally the very "big stuff". Sweating the small stuff would mean you'll be worried and stressed out all the time, and miss out on the happier aspects of life. Save the worrying and stress for the really big stuff, and marshall your energies towards addressing the bigger issues in life.

because if we stress on every little thing that comes our way, every little problem that is really not a big deal, then we end up using all our energy and time, and then we will forget that there are bigger, life-changing decisions we have to make ASAP or else, we are doomed. and above that, we will go crazy if we sweat on the small stuffs in life. So chill, relax, sweat only when you have to.

If you worry about everything, (sweating the small stuff) you end up doing nothing at all. You end up wasting your time and energy while getting stressed about things that you can't control.
Nothing can be accomplished when all you do is worry.

You shouldn't sweat the small sltuff because if the small things in life bother you then the bigger things will have a tremendous effect on your life and it'll only cause stress...sometimes just let the small things go because they're not worth worring about...

Cause in the grand scheme of things the small stuff probably aren't as important as the really big stuff. If we focus on the small stuff we can't solve the big stuff. Sometimes we'll have to pick and choose what is really important and what we can change versus what is not very important and what we probably can't ever change.

each and every day there are lots of things that happen that do not really mater in the long run. It is the long term that really maters. Don't wory about that cute dress (for girls) or thoes nice wheels (for guys) when you see them tomarrow they wont mater at all and somthing else will be on your mind.
But if you do not plan on what you are going to be doing in say twenty years then you will be there with nothing but a bunch of out of date cloths and worn out wheels but nothing to live on.
Just have some fun when you are young but take a bit of time each day to see what life would be like in the future when you don't think about it today.

I do. Not generally, but in my work. You know what they say - "the devil's in the details."
If you don't sweat the small stuff, who will?

it makes good sense in time management.
Well some body has to sweat the small stuff, but who?
That is the chain of command.
Do you want to be the Janitor or operator or supervisor or secretary or manager or exective manager or ceo or president or on the board of directors or the Banker.
It is your choice.
