why do men enjoy watching **** more than women? If so many women hate **** why do they act in it?

Recent studies have shown that women think about sex as frequently as men, that they're more open (generally) to 'kinky' aspects of sex, and - most important regarding your question - their brains react just as quickly to visual stimulation (****).
In other words, they still don't know why men 'enjoy' watching **** more than women. Maybe it's simply b/c more **** is marketed towards men, and it's more socially acceptable for men to watch **** (or admit they're watching it). It's sort of an unspoken rule of our society that men will enjoy **** and women will hate it -- that creates a lot of social pressure for women to avoid it or say she doesn't like it.
The women who act in **** don't hate it - HBO ran a special that interviewed several **** actresses, all of whom enjoyed their job. Few hours, great pay, and sex, what's not to love?
I'm not denying a lot of women hate **** -- many think it's degrading to women, and/or that it has negative psychological effects on men (making them dissatisfied with their wives, for instance) -- but not all of them do. Some of them love it, and act in it, or watch it.

Some women do whatever they have to in order to make a living, including acting in ****. I know **** is wrong, but my hubby and I watch it sometimes together. A lot of the time he gets grossed out before I do, lol.

**** is great when handled as a turn on for both, but not when the guy is hanging out with the porno and NOT with the real woman, than it becomes a threat to the real woman.
The number one problem married women face today (as per my experience talking candidly with married women) is that their hubby's are not interested in sex (with them). But most of them are involved in watching ****. So **** becomes a wedge between the guy and his mate, because he forgets about her, and how to flirt and all th signs that we real women need in order to know our fellow wants to have sex.

This issue is the difference between male and female sexuality. Male sexuality is oriented towards the healthy and youthful physical appearance of large numbers of women to bear healthy children for him, increasing the spread and probability of survival of his gene pool for biological, genetic, evolutionary reasons. Men can, in principle, have sex with and conceive children with many different women every day. There is pornography for women -- romance novels. These create fantasies in which men become totally under the control of women emotionally -- usually for no obvious reason -- and thus help women survive, bear children, and bring them to maturity. The men become convenient, survival-assist tools for women, in these novels.
Women act in pornography because they are paid well for it. Some women may also enjoy the attention and power they gain from sexual control over men, by acting in these films.

i think part of it is society tells women the are supposed to be chaste and pure, but it is not always the same for men.
women act in **** because they get paid a lot more then men do

Because men have less imagination than women... they're more "visual" or so they all keep spouting.
That is NOT acting by any definition of the term and it's called EXPLOITATION. 90% of them haven't the self esteem to avoid such a pitfall much less remove themselves from such a demeaning situation.
I'm not a total prude, but ever hear of a PLOT?!

some women do see ****--rare, but sometimes.
**** actresses, remember, are there for the money, the attention. most of them were raped in their life. some hate being in xxx movies so much that they vomit between scenes...
