Working in a lab is probably the most common thing with only a bachelor's degree. I have a B.S. in Biology, and I did a few years of lab work right out of college. I worked in the QC lab for a food manufacturer for a little while, then I worked at the State Health Lab (State Health Dept.) as a microbiologist. It was pretty redundant work, although enjoyable enough. I worked in the Tuberculosis/Bacteriology section, serotyping enteric pathogens so the CDC could track outbreaks.
Now I work for the County Health Dept., inspecting restaurants and public swimming pools and hotels and schools. I've been doing it for three years now. It requires a bachelor's in a life science (in our county), and it actually pays fairly decently (that may or may not be true in other parts of the country). I love this job, it's the most fun job I've ever had. If you're also a people person, you would like it, too.
There are also restaurants and grocery stores that have their own internal QC inspectors, and they will typically pay more than the government will for inspection. A BS in micro ought to sit you nicely for a position like that. There are also private companies that do inspections, much like the health dept, but restaurants and stores will hire them as private contractors. They pay more than the government does, too.
Best of luck to you! It's rough when you first get out . . . but be persistent and you'll find a niche somewhere . . . and then there's no stopping you! :)

With just a B.S..you will be working in a lab and long hours and still will be working for wages. Very low income..but the good thing is if you have a lot of skills and someone (your boss) notices that then you will slowly go up on a scale.
But seriuosly anyone who major in science like Biology or any related fields..need to go to graduate school. Especially if you want to research.
Right now in a lab the duties you will get would be clean slides, adjust PH of something..wash dishes..organize the lab and write and type data..things like that. Or set up a electrophoresis gel...etc.
Another option would be a teacher at high school. Or if you pass specific exams and this is rare but maybe even at a community college.\
Good Luck.

Smile and say "Do you want some fries with that". But seriously, post-graduate studies probably up to PhD level if you want to get a job in micro-biology proper.
Also, there are many career paths for which a degree is merely an entrance requirement. I thinking that you might find the job of your dreams because of that BSc in micro-biology, but it might as well have been a B.A in fine art.
You need to develop your soft-skills, network, optimize your personality, etc if you REALLY want to end up where you want to.
In life these skills are more important than what a university can teach you..
