Is it true that the more numbers of legs, the less intelligent the animal is?

Chimps and gorillas can stand on two legs but seldom do. So can bears and dogs.

All birds stand on two legs. Since birds are less intelligent than mammals, I think that counting legs alone doesn't determine intelligence.

The normal way for estimating intelligence is to look at how large the brain is and, especially, how convoluted and wrinkled it is.

There are mant different types of animals that can STAND (and Walk) on 2 legs, but it is not their primary way of getting around. Humans and Birds are the only animals that only use two legs. The answer to the second question is NO

No. Apes have been found to use tools such as stick for personal grooming. They need the support of their fore-limbs while walking. So technically they are using all of their limbs, but they are capable of standing on their hind limbs. Even animals such as coyote work in groups for hunting their prey the jack rabbit. The jack rabbit is faster then the coyote, so the coyote organize themselves at certain points. When one coyote gets tired of chasing another coyote takes its place. This continues till the jack rabbit gets tired and caught by the final coyote who shares it with other.

Birds have two legs but their brains are not too big - it doesn't mean that they are not intelligent but...
Oh, yes, and there's a kangaroo - another two-legged animal... (I'm sure there are a few more)

Ever hear of a birdbrain? All birds walk on 2 legs. Sometimes kangaroos do, too.

Okay, that was embarassing. Two people beat me with my answers. How about bears?

My lady does that to declare hi to human beings. it is purely for a couple of minutes and it is her way of greeting those that come over. I knowledgeable and socialized her at a youthful age, 8 weeks from as quickly as I have been given her to now, 5 years later so she is acquainted with greeting human beings. Now my Pappillon is only outright neurotic, he got here from a defend and alter into so abused that he won't be able to be superb to everyone who comes close to me.
