as I have no idea just how much "ten quid" might amount to in American dollars, I suggest you go buy yourself a cup of coffee. If there is any left after that, then time spent enjoying your coffee might give you the inspiration on what to spend the rest on.

Ask yourself this question.
If I lost a tenner what would I want?
And surely the answer is that you would want to be taught a lesson for losing it.
So by rights you should teach whoever lost it a lesson by spending it on yourself.
I reckon you should spend it on alcohol because at least then you have nothing to show for it after and you wont feel as guilty as if you had bought lottery tickets and won it.
