Because the 'energy', 'enthusiasm', the'spirit', 'the cheer' and the 'warmth' gets passed on to the other chap....
i quote an example: if i was somewhat dejected one morning driving to the office and come across a pal who says "buddy whats happened? you look so sad? are you ok?" then another one with a similar talk....
by the time i reach office and enter my cubicle i start feeling something is wrong...actually if you ask me its all the how the mind works. So please let the heart work for you and cheer up...i say to miself and start my day in the office afresh....very fresh and active and actually go to greet others who may not be as enthusiastic as i am....
