I've NEVER heard or seen of the two of them being associated. Actually, I have no clue WHAT female in the music business is associated with Brandy. As stated previously in your answers, Missy Elliot was her friend, and of course she had many many other aquaintances through her music, modeling and movie appearances. I was so sad when she died in August, 2001...just a few weeks before 9-11. What a crazy season that was.

Brandy wasn't Aaliyah best friend. But if you look at Aaliyah miss you video you will see some of her close friends on there.
