Depends on what State you live in. For me, in Las Vegas Nevada, my divorce was final within 4 weeks after I filed. But Nevada is known for quick divorces.
I think California makes you wait at least 6 months after you file before the divorce is final. Legal Seperation if you will.

I'm in the middle of a pro-se divorce, and I filed the paperwork myself.
I filed the papers on March 23rd, so the divorce should be final sometime this fall. This is a no contest divorce with no children or property.
If there are any children or if they have real estate, IRAs, etc, to divide, then GET A LAWYER.

I believe that in the state of Wa. at least, it takes 90 days from the day the papers are filed. Other states may be different. So i guess it depends on how long it takes him to fill out the papers and file them. If there is property to be divided, or children involved, she will have to agree or disagree, to what he plans. What about alimony or spousal support? If he is making all of the plans is she ok with that?

You tell your spouse no you will no longer pay her criminal expenditures. then you definately proceed with the divorce. you may get a DNA try if it concerns yet once you raised him as your individual and you care approximately him then do no longer difficulty. Sorry it extremely is no longer your accountability. you will possibly be able to desire to attempt to report a uncontested divorce, whether it must be uncontested and you 2 might nevertheless desire separate attorneys to make particular no conflict on pastime and that the two events have a sparkling criminal information of each little thing. An uncontested divorce even with factors because of the fact of toddlers and issues like factors -- is often much extra much less costly because of the fact it extremely is much less courtroom time approximately disagreements requiring a choose. it extremely is all much less funds you will possibly desire to pay for the attorneys time.
