Graph the following equations using a table. Sketch the axis of symmetry.
1. y = x(to the 2nd) + 10x +25 2. x(to the 2nd) - 4x + 5 = 0

3. What is the solution set of the equation (x+4) (2x-1) = 0?

I don't see how I can draw you a sketch for #1 or #2, but for #3, the solution set would be the set of numbers for which either factor equals 0.

x + 4 = 0 --> x = -4
2x - 1 = 0 --> 2x = 1 --> x = 1/2
So the solution set is -4, 1/2.

1.y=x(to th 2nd) +10x+25
=x(to th 2nd) +5x+5x+25
=(x+5)to the 2nd
so when x=1, y=root6
x=2, y=root7... similarly u get other points and then draw the graph
2. easy one try urself
3. x= -4, x=1/2
