I have small holes in my young morningglories?

crush some garlic and blend it in in water. spray it on your plant. garlic is a natural insect repellant. havent tried it yet though.

how about getting spiders on your plant so bugs will be eaten by the spiders.

For ants, make up a mix of 50% Borax and 50% icing sugar, put this mix in a shallow container, (top from an ice cream bucket will do) and put it on the ground by your flowers. The ants take the stuff back to the ant nest and feed the queen with it, the Borax kills the ants, no more problem.
If you have pets cover to mix so they cannot eat it.

Put a small amount of Palmolive dish soap in a spray bottle and fill with water. Mist your plants with this every couple of days. That should repel the pests for you. Good luck!

~~Seven Dust you can get it at any walmart, or confectioners sugar and borax works too.... the problem with that is you may end up with extra bee's hanging around there because of the sweet smell.~~
