I've been to the doctor and they said that this was to be expected. Does anyone know why this is so?

My doc told me it can take up to a year for your body to adjust to having an IUD. It took about 6 or 7 months for all that to stop with me. I think it probably is because there is something foreign "in there" and it just takes time to get used to it. I am ok now, I hardly have a period at all any more. Good luck!

IUCD is a foreign thingy to the body. It takes some time for the body to get adjusted to it.
