that must be george bush's brain.

but seriously, the only place where you will not feel gravity is exactly at the centre of the earth. because the pull of gravity will be equal from all sides.

Not in the US. The center of gravity of Earth is in the center of the planet, in the core. Gravity of the planet is the sum total of the gravity of all the matter that makes up the Earth, and mathematically that can be considered as if all the mass were concentrated at an infinitely small point at the center of the Earth, 4,000 below the surface. In fact, if all the mass of the Earth were actually squeezed down into an infinitely small volume, then that would be a small black hole, but gravity 4,000 miles from that black hole, where the surface of the Earth is right now, would be the same as it is now. The orbit of the space station would be no different if it was orbiting that hypothetical black hole than it is now orbiting the real Earth. Mathematically they are the same, and since it is easier to do the math for the black hole case, that it how they always do the Math.

Oh, note to Frank N, that haunted house at Knott's Berry Farm, where gravity seemed all wrong, is gone. I asked about it when I was there a couple years ago, and they said it had been torn down years ago. Another piece of my happy childhood gone. Sigh....

At first I had no idea what you were talking about but then remembered that there is some place in the woods somewhere that I read about. I'll see if I can find it and get back to you.

OK found it. The Oregon Vortex. Google the term and you'll find heaps of stuff. The website has some interesting pics but from wikipedia it just sounds like it's all optical illusions although some have found relief from back pain etc. This is a link to the website, check it out for yourself.

Impossible, there are gimmicky vacation stops like this all over the country. You can not defy gravity.

For instance, there is a place in Wisconsin called "Wonder Spot". It is just a house built on the side of a hill.

You can't defy gravity. The only place it might be different is at the poles.

There are places (I think Knotts Berry Farm in Anaheim was one of them) which have tilted rooms, so that when you are standing, you look and feel like you are leaning. You put a ball on a track and it looks like it rolls uphill. This is all due to optical cues and your experience which tells you floors are level and walls are vertical.

Right here. Through inertia, the right, and a magician's pointing finger a person can levitate being left in cessation for a period of seconds.
