I have a data cable and disc for a samsung e530 and dont know how to get it to go 'online'. anyone know how?

It also says to choose a com port which I have, but it doesn't make any difference? HELP

It is a usb data cable for transfering files like pictures and phonebook info from your phone into your pc.

do you mean to use your phone as a modem? you need your GPRS / internet settings to be correct on your mobile. once you have installed the software you should be able to go into tools and select what you want to do...back up, download pics etc and somewhere there you should have option to connect.
