There are many private airports between Madrid and Albuquerque, but the most used in commercial aircraft is the Albuquerque Air Port. Then just take Yale to Gibson to i25 and head North.
If you get lost, though, Never ask somebody from Albuquerque for directions, check a map. Remember the Coyote in the cartoons got lost from never taking the right turn in Albuquerque. ;) Good luck, and don't stay too long you'll get sucked in and never be able to leave.
By the way, they have this new thing called the railrunner, kinda like an above ground subway that goes from Albuquerque to Santa Fe, maybe you could try that, it's free for the next 3 months and then you wouldn't have to take a cab or rent a car.

That will be Albuquerque, NM.
From Albuquerque to Madrid, located on the Turquoise Trail (Hwy 14) it is about 30 miles to Madrid.
Artsy little Town. Also close to Santa Fe
