The song is called Whole Lotta Love. The original is by Led Zeppelin from the album Led Zeppelin II. The version played on top of the pops is a crappy version by a band called CCS.

Well...no extra point Vicki, cos "whole lotta love" has been the top of the pops theme tune TWICE, so your saying "the tune before it was the wizard", is not completely 100% true!!

It is whole lotta love but not played by Led Zep. The flute lead is not typical of Jimmy Page`s work. It`s Alexis Korner`s band CSS.
