Fire certainly does contain mass. Fire itself is an exothermic chemical reaction(it releases energy). As we all know, chemicals are built of molecules and molecules are built of atoms. Atoms are built of mass; protons, neutrons, and electrons. Therefore fire contains mass. That is why a burned substance always weighs less than the original. The mass is lost to fire and than to smoke and ash.

Fire is made of both matter and energy. The matter most certainly has mass but mostly is the fuel and smoke waste. The energy part of the fire such as the heat would have no mass as energy has no mass

Fire is not a substance itself. What we see as a fire is glowing gas and that gas has mass. The gas does respond to gravity (of course), but since it is hot, it is less dense that the air around it and so it rises through boyant forces.

Well, fire is formed when something reaches its ignition temperature. So it burns something and it emits energy in the form of light and energy. So as a whole it consists of mass of combuting fuel particles. And based on conservation of energy
this mass is converted to light & energy.

When an iron piece is heated it glows red at high temperature and then becomes white at still high tempedrature.
Though it emits light it has mass.
The fire is no more than a fuel gas at high temperature. Since gas has mass, fire has mass.

fire is the combustion of a certain body so it occupies space and mass
however, it is in form of a gas so it is very light and defies gravity

The molecules that are burnt have volume, so technically yes. But when those molecules reach their flash point, they react differently, so it depends on what is being burnt.
