We are alive because we have a purpose.
The gag is we don't know what's that purpose!
When we find that purpose we are truly alive...

we are living to see what we are capable of. in other words, what is our potential. how much more can we do, or can take, or can give, etc.. sometimes you feel life is not worth living, then you have to see how much more you can take. sometimes, you feel there is nothing more you can do. then, you can take a new hobby or challenge like learning foreign language, climbing, dancing, writing book, etc, to see how much more potential you have. and then you find you have talent for newer things you never knew.

Yes, it is! God purposed us to live forever. Now that we can't live forever now, it is important for us to use our life exercising faith in God. (Joh 11:25,26)
The scripture reads: Jesus said to her: "I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercising faith, even though he dies, will come to life; and everyone that is living and exercises faith in me will never die at all."
