It is suicide to pick a fight with Israel. The country is barely 60 years old and has never actually lost a war. Israel has the top rated special forces in the world, and use all american military technology. Despite its small size, its military is world class. And even if they found themselves in a bad way, the other half of the US military would come to their aid. And US invasion policy begins with heavy bombing- sending countries back to the stone age. Does Lebanon want that? Lebanon was at a severe disadvantage before, the hezbollah will make little difference to anything except Lebonese casualties.

Sorry the only way Lebanon will win anything is if the get rid of the Hezbollah. Israel has won before and will again. And by the way your lame attempt at sounding like a foreigner doesn't fool anyone on this site or it shouldn't. You are so anti anything that is not a white Anglo Saxon christian that I feel sorry for you.

Has this no longer been an ongoing warfare for the previous 50 years. regrettably, if it ever were given to the point of all out warfare, both would lose. The Israeli air rigidity will be no tournament for Lebanon and the floor warfare that Lebanon would attack with will be puzzling to quit. The "association" that they have isn't perfect yet a minimum of it is safer than the alternative.

I feel so sorry for Lebanon, all their life has been war war war. God help them. Its so sad that its happening all over again. They are loving and peaceful people. If Hezbollah is kicked out its would be great news for Lebanon. Wishful thinking :(

Well its very difficult to win against Israel/USA;Israel is powerful only because they have all the latest US military equipment and have unlimited use of the US surveillance equipment.Lets face it Israel is the USA.George Bush wants the oil and the Israelis are stirring up the Middle East murdering innocent women and children and getting conditions just right for the US to come in and mop everything up for oil and profit.There are Nazi's in the White house who murdered 3000 people in the Twin Towers so if they are willing to sacrifice their own people for oil, then God help the rest of the world.

One can never win with Hezbollah. Theirs is a doomed, and outdated cause. The Lebanese people will be better off without them. They will be respected as a modern society of the world without the destructive and hateful elements of that radical islamicist cult.
Lebannon - Yes!

They will do some damage to Israel. The question is will the do enough damage to Israel to make it understand force is not a solution.
