fix a tricky place on a easy set up pool ring?

before i through it out... does anyone have an idea how i can fix a rip (about 1/2") right in the seam of the air ring of the easy set up pool? any help would be appreciated

I would try the patch kit with some good water resistant glue.

try using patch on both sides then use c clamp and 2 small pieces or wood let glue set up to keep flat the tear
