Look at your country's and other Muslim countries' views on the US. Why do they hate the US? I've heard those countries don't hate Americans but hate our government. Maybe there is a reason for that!

We are not enslave people in the United States,we have freedoms that you can only dream about or simply cant conceive .We are free to be alike or different ,that is our choice. We can be any religion we choose ,we can live any where we can afford to live. Choice is the basic freedom in America, We do not have Masters ,we are not sheep ,we do not herd well.. I have been reading the answers you have gotten and I can't believe the lack of knowledge and the prejudice coming from people in my own country. Judaism is a religion IT IS NOT a nationality. The people of the Jewish faith on average have no more money or influence on the government then anyone else. that’s the same type of dogma crap that terrorist and tyrants would like you to believe. truth is that we're basically no different from you, we just believe in different things and live differently under a different type of political system. We, as a people, have more to say in our government, anyone can run for a political office if he or she chooses to do so, and many do, to make changes for the better. If a political leader is found committing a crime or some form of injustice then he can be removed from power and possibly sent to prison(depending on the crime and if he is found guilty). from what little I know of the political structure through countries of the Middle East, this is anthemia for the powers that be,.......men in power want to stay in power and crave more. the fact that they could loose this power is unthinkable to them and also terrifying to them, to think that they could be replaced, that someone could settle old injustices that he delivered upon another person or peoples. there is a very old saying " Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely". Over time power does have a tendency to corrupt people, that's why, our leaders are elected, if we don't like the way that that person is handling things we can elect another person at the next election, but were not stuck with him if we don't want him in power any more, because we have something that is incredible,........we have the power of freedom and with that comes the power of free choice, to choose how to live our lives, for the better and not under the rule of someone who is misguided or simply wrong in their belief and understanding of the people that they are trying to protect and serve for the betterment of their family, tribe, village, or country.
