What military advice can France give anyone? How to surrender an entire country in advance of hostilities? (WW2) How to loose to the Mexican army (Battle of Pueblo.. 5 de mayo)?

The last successful french military operation was the sinking of a civilian Greenpeace ship, the Rainbow Warrior, in 1985.

The french foreign legion is too busy keeping Africa unbalanced politically so they can rape the natural resources unopposed. They can't actually afford to help Israel, not that they would need the help of the weakest army in NATO and the western world.

Receiving military advice from France is like getting dieting tips from Rosie O'Donnell.

France's track record in military operations has two bright spots: when led by a kid that they deemed insane and by a Corsican who was raised to hate the French.

As for giving Israel advice, remember that France was the country that provided Iraq with a nuclear facility in 1981, but was promptly destroyed by Israel before it was completed. France fell for the power only reason, which was later exposed as a lie by leading Iraqi scientists that were able to escape the regime.

It took Israel 6 days to beat down the entire Middle East back in 1967. Israel has one of the best military forces on the planet, evident from the continual combative scenarios that are played out over there.

France has two rules of self-defense: 1) not in the face; 2) surrender before the first shot is fired.

In my opinion, not the best advice for a nation surrounded by hostile neighbors wanting your demise.

Nope, especially since Israel has defended itself from a near constant onslaught for the past 50 years.

The reason they are giving advice though, is so that they can say they help Israel without actually having to take their dastardly butts down there.

France is a wannabe superpower...the only reason they have any status left in the world is because the UK and US needed another western nation to combat the Communists....now that the cold war is over France should give the UK and US our Nukes back.

Should France, who saved the American Revolution and gave us the Statue of Liberty as a gift, be continually slagged by a bunch of rednecks who get their world view spoon fed to them from Fox News?

Hm. Well they can talk their snotty french talk, but I don't think Israel should listen. France still has a right to babble on though.
