The word "asked" comes out as "ast", something to do with the shape of the palate, I think.

There are always words that you cannot pronounce as a child.
My best one was re-naming one of my cousins.
Her name is Cynthia, but for me it would come out Cindy,
She started using Cindy and it stuck !
To this very day (37 years later) she uses Cindy.

dad used to have an old gramophone, as a child i could never pronounce the word right. Everytime i did i came out like granma-pone..lol

I cannot pronounce "simarlarly". lol I don't know why, but it always comes out wrong and I have to try 2 or 3 times to get it right!

For some strange reason... when I say Magnum (as in the ice cream) is comes out like Magmanum! llf - No idea why. If I say it slowly, it's ok, but I can't say it normally! lol
My brother use to call Coffee, Fucky!! llf lmao!

Yes yes yes. My mashed potatoes (sp) always came out as smashed topatoes. And as an adult lozenges really send my tongue into overload. Whew.
