Associations may be a good avenue to explore as well. These organizations will address many of the thoughts, questions and concerns you'll inevitably have as well as many you haven't anticipated yet. See the source box for some relevant links.

Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

Since you already have a customer list and know their preferences why not create baskets unique to their needs for the upcoming holidays and take one in as a gift and present it and a personalized price list. Offer a discount if so many ordered and by such and such time. Then ask them if the basket fulfills their needs or how you could better serve them.

I tend to respond to this type of "come on" more than the general card in the mail.

Also, have you thought of setting up a table of your wares in the lobby of nursing homes, hospitals, etc. I teach water aerobics in a retirement home and periodically they have people do this and it is great for the residents since they don't get out often and it solves shopping problems for them. I particularly see this around all of the holidays. The health club where I work also does this as do many of the hospitals.

Services, such as your gift baskets, are great for people who are super busy and can't get out to shop as well as for shut ins.

GOOD LUCK!
