As a native New Yorker, I've grown up with Jews, and know them to be some of the finest people in the world. But I must stand with the innocent Lebanonese people who have been injured or died by the hundreds for the sake of 2 Israeli soldiers. When you are a soldier, you are at risk for injury and death. And so, be it. Not ALL Lebanonese are complicit in the kidnappings. Now the Israelis have simply created a new generation of anti-Semites and anti-Americans. It is simply WRONG and UNJUST war. The Arabs should shut down the oil pipeline, and punish all of us.
