It's hard to say what one stone would cost, as the usual practise is to buy a whole club's worth at once. Curling stones last a long time, so there is not a huge demand for new ones. Every set of new stones is more or less a custom order.

There are gem stones used for jewellery such as diamonds, shaffaire, blue stones etc. There are flooring stones used for household floorings granites, marbles, limestones and sandstones. India is a big source for flooring stones and articles made of stones. I'm not sure what they cost but I'd bet you anything that since it's a winter item, It's going to be cheapest when bought in the summer.

well it depends on what kind of stone you want. the best kind are found on a beach or river, and they are free, some people sell them to people who are to lazy to go look for their own
