what constitute a good ecommerce website to you?

Until now, I never had problems with shopping online. I think an important aspect of the eCommerce website would be to keep the customer informed about the order status, especially in case of delays (out of stock for example.) I think it is not enough to have a note on the website, it is a good idea to send an email periodically to the customer with order status.
The key aspect here is confidence. I suppose keeping contact with the customer will lead the customer to trust the website.

I never had a problem purchasing an item online. What constitutes a good sale would be getting my product within the time the seller stated

Best e-commerce shopping/purchasing experience? Amazon. They have their stuff together, they build a 'history' based on your searches and purchases, its easy to track your purchases and see what you bought years ago, and you can make multiple wish lists.

Amazon runs well, too- most of the time page changes or additions to the wish lists are quick and easy. They've built an excellent store 'engine'.

I've been using KASEYBRETL.COM , got a gift card from them and used it. they take gift cards and credit cards. give them a try. i like them a lot.
