Jesus Christ claimed to be the Son of God; a Savior for all people who choose to believe in Him. The fact that Jesus claimed to be the Messiah is not unique in history. Many people have claimed to be sent by God throughout history. Acts 5:36 references a man named Theudas who claimed to be: "somebody" that people followed. Others include, Mohammed. The life and coming of Jesus was predicted thousands of years before He was born in the book of Isaiah. He fulfilled this prophesy and many others written before His birth to the Virgin Mary. Jesus had many unique qualities that the others who claimed to be the messiah could not match; Jesus Christ overcame death on the cross and was resurrected to be with His Father in heaven. Further examples of why Jesus is Lord include, His ability to overcome temptation living a sinless and perfect life along with His abilities to perform documented miracles in the name of God.
As one of the most popular Bible verses, John 3:16-17 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
As Colossians 1:15 says, "He [Christ] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation." Jesus provides eternal hope, through God's grace, for everyone who believes He is Lord.
God loves the world and all He has created. However, people have chosen to separate from God through our sins. Jesus provides the bridge for us to receive God's grace of forgiveness for our sins and fulfill the hope of eternal life. This was the purpose of Jesus Christ and why Jesus is Lord. God sent Jesus to earth over 2000 years ago to set the example of how God desires everyone to live while on earth. He completed His purpose by willingly being crucified so God could be glorified through His resurrection. He lived His life while here on earth in perfect obedience to God regardless of the pain and suffering it entailed which included beatings, humiliation, doubt, ridicule, and finally ultimate execution with His limbs pierced and pinned to a cross.
Jesus led a life that was completely obedient to God; something we cannot do regardless how hard we try through our will power or by the level of wisdom we possess. Everyone has sinned except Christ; He was perfect in love. This is only something God can be. Jesus performed over 23 documented and witnessed miracles over nature, overcoming death and powers of healing that have never been matched or done in the history of the world. Jesus had powers that only God could possess. He had the ability to predict the future as indicated in the book of Mark, verse 14:72 and the book of Matthew, verse 16:18. Jesus honored God throughout every event in His life. He was humble and gentle mirroring God's Spirit. This is further proof why Jesus is Lord. There is no other faith in the world that can provide the evidence that Jesus is the Lord. Jesus still lives in heaven at the right hand of God. We cannot see Him, but must rely on the documented facts and His message of salvation for all who believe in Him. When choose to place our faith in Jesus Christ and trust God, He has promised to secure a place in heaven for each of us.
{ as for me i do believe that JESUS CHRIST is our LORD,GOD and SAVIOUR and he is THE MESSIAH }

People ask this question thinking "HA!, I got you now, it can only be one of those three according to the Bible."
Well, the problem is that Jesus didn't write the Bible, a bunch of guys that came after him did. Paul didn't even meet Jesus (unless you count his "vision"), Luke probably didn't either, and biblical scholars are pretty certian that the gospel of John was written by people taught by John, not the apostle himself. So the problem is that we're working from the assumption that the Bible accurately portrays everything that Jesus said and did, instead of reflecting the beliefs of the cult of followers that followed in his wake.
It is very possible that the sayings attributed to Jesus that make "liar, lunatic or Lord" the only options weren't ever said by him. But put in his mouth by some very well meaning people later on.
I personally believe Jesus is my Lord, but getting to that point isn't as easy or cut-and-dried as you're making it out to be.

Well, he was a prophet, wasn't he? Prophets, by and large, aren't liars, lunatics, OR gods. They're passionate, charismatic people promoting their version of spiritual truth. I think it's fairly impossible to make any definite claims about the historical Jesus. He was a Jewish man who preached a lot and died young. He wasn't directly responsible for the creation of the Christian church, nor for its popularity. An interesting figure, to be sure, but he can never be much more than a "figure" to us.

I don`t know the answer to your question. But, let me put it this way: he was a man that truly had an influence in the people who surrounded him at the time. If not, how could his memory have survived?
I think he was a good man who preached love and respect in a time where there wasn`t much of that around... I don`t know if he truly was the son of God but I believe he was a remarkable person. That should be enough...

Jesus/Issa/Yuz Asaf was a prophet - an angel prophet specifically. The reason why he stood out among the many other prophets in his day and now is because his Gifts of the Spirit, channeled through and around him by a large Group Entity in the Mid Realms (that had millions of members in it), was uniquely powerful and influential.
In reference to this statement:
"I am the way the truth and the life, no one can come to the Father except by me."
C.S. Lewis is right.
For Jesus to have said that does indicate that he was not a good man. It also means that he had a HUGE EGO.
Humility and purity are the cornerstones of advanced spirituality. Compassion plays a key role as well.
Egotism is rampant among prophets because of their Gifts of the Spirit, the adulation they receive from people, and their lack of spiritual discipline in monitoring themselves; all of which leads to them living in a bubble of pompous, selfish, self-absorbed fantasy.
In recent decades, Sai Baba of India is an excellent example of unchecked egotism and rampant lust. Like the prophet Issa, he too had powerful Gifts of the Spirit. But he misused his Gifts and became a sexual predator of young men and boys at his ashram. Consequently, he and the large Group Entity - which also suffered from corruption - retrogressed and Sai Baba's Gifts of the Spirit have significantly weakened with age. He can no longer create food, sacred ash, and jewelry like he once did.
Issa/Yuz Asaf/Jesus was never a highly evolved soul just as Sai Baba was never highly evolved. Neither were ever Saints. The many angels who collectively provided Jesus with his Gifts and who channeled minor miracles around early missionaries - especially Paul of Tarsus - are what made Jesus out to be a god.
Jesus' inability to rise from the grave to prove his god status is another indication that he is no god whatsoever. An additional indication is from him being compassion-challenged in not using his ecclesiastical authority to stop many Christian priests, ministers, and nuns - who preach in his name no less - from sexually molesting and in some cases, raping, thousands of innocent children around the world.
The whole story of the crucifixion was an elaborate hoax to elevate Jesus from the status of prophet to that of a god. But it wasn't just incarnate people who orchestrated this deception. The large Group Entity that powered Jesus' Gifts also played a key role in deceiving people on this issue. They wanted to further a god icon so that they would be worshipped.
It worked.
However, the Absolute Truth about anything eventually comes to light down here in the flesh, even if it takes many centuries to do so.
Not only did Jesus excape the Roman authorities completely (with the help of his disciples - like Judas), but he lived to be a very old man.
Just before dying AT THE AGE OF EIGHTY in India, Issa/Yuz Asaf/Jesus declared that he was the GALILEAN MESSIAH.

"you've faith he made the claims notwithstanding the claims were faux. therefore, he did not recognize his claims became faux and became obviously deluded and therefore became a LUNATIC." "- there is not any data or declare of Jesus psychological incapacity or fantasy. The historic data (extra biblical) backs up the declare that he became standard "respectable" and sound in techniques." a million. there is infrequently any data that he existed, now to not instruct data that he behaved in a fashion function of sound techniques. Assuming he existed notwithstanding: 2. no longer anybody with a psychological issues looks barking mad. maximum psychological disabilities are minor (consisting of upload, melancholy, or dyslexia), and that i in my opinion recognize countless those with such psychological disabilities who're able to hide their afflictions o.k.. They date, they marry, they paintings 9 to 5 jobs, they convey on with their lives a lifeless ringer for any standard man or woman. 3. i believe he claimed he became the son of God, yet that does no longer make him a liar or a lunatic. that's extra in all probability that he extremely believed he became the son of God and became in simple terms incorrect.

If you look at history you will see that He was a politician.
Not a minister, or religious figure, but a political activist and a bit of a rebel to top it off.

He chose to die for us, isn't that enough to prove that He loves us, and so He is Lord.
He chose to take our place ... it should've been us being nailed to the cross, He didn't do anything to deserve it and yet chose to accept the mission given by His Father.
Jesus is Lord ...
